I would like to say that I am tired of the excessive speeding that occurs on Walnut Street. I have children who play outside near 5th Street and the cars drive by doing 40mph many times. Can you please monitor this more closely?
Abusive police are encouraged to abuse in River Falls, WI because the town’s people are authoritarian.
Officer Carolyn Kelly came to my apartment in a rage yelling about a minor traffic infraction. She asked “how long I had been in town” fishing for an excuse to frame me with a crime. Later, I was physically assaulted by an employee of UWRF but could not report the crime. Privileged local white men assault outsiders with the support of the police. Chief Roger Leque allowed the harassment of “outsiders” to keep the town pure.
We have a good city Police department.
