The place is a great park! It has three playgrounds, a tennis and basketball court, a baseball and soccer field, a pool, and a mini forest with plenty of picnic tables. The best part is that you can walk down to the river where the falls of River Falls are located.
Wonderful, large, classic, historic, small town park...plenty of trees...access to historic Swinging Bridge...a stop along the Kinnickinnic River Hiking Trail, including access to river fishing & kayaking...access to the falls along the South Fork "River"...outdoor playground & swimming pool, picnic shelter & softball field...restrooms (summer only)...but park land & drive around open for use year round...some building upgrades planned for 2018-ish...
Very very nice part to take a walk in the afternoon. Views along the Kinnickinnic River are wonderful and the park is super quiet. Great place to get lost in town!
Love this park so much. Especially, the hiking trail. Very decent, nice spots along the trail to hang out at. Definitely good for runners and walkers. Very popular for fishermen and kayakers. When I look at the water from the Kinnickinnic river it looks so clean. Definitely my go2 hangout spot.
Wisconsin does have some very nice scenic parks. Good fishing here too.
